HEALTH--COMMUNITY HEALTH BOARD ESTABLISHED ----------------------------------------------------------------- Health Minister Ron Stewart congratulates the Central Regional Health Board on the appointment its first Community Health Board. The Eastern Shore - Musquodoboit Community Health Board is the first CHB established in Nova Scotia in keeping with the province's health renewal agenda. "I commend the members of the newly appointed Board," says Health Minister Stewart. "And I express true appreciation for the volunteers' dedication of time and energy. This is a leap forward for health renewal which fosters community-based decision making." The Central Regional Health Board announced the appointment Saturday of the 12 community volunteers to the Eastern Shore - Musquodoboit Community Health Board.
