PREMIER--NEW DEPUTIES ----------------------------------------------------------------- Premier John Savage today announced the appointment of a new deputy minister and the reassignment of another. Bruce V. Atwell is the new deputy minister of Transportation and Public Works. He is currently the department's executive director of highway programs. Bert Loveless, currently the deputy minister of Transportation and Public Works, is the new deputy minister of the Economic Renewal Agency. He succeeds Darrell Hiltz who has retired. Mr. Atwell joined the then provincial Department of Highways in 1968. A graduate of the University of New Brunswick in Civil Engineering, the new deputy has held a number of senior positions within the department.
