NOTE TO EDITORS--PUBLIC FORUM-"PRACTISING POSITIVE PARENTING" ----------------------------------------------------------------- Partnerships in Prevention, a coalition of child and family advocacy organizations is presenting a free public forum titled Practising Positive Parenting. The forum is taking place Thursday, Oct. 3, 7 - 8:30 p.m. in the Grace Reception Room, IWK-Grace Health Centre. Kathy Lynn, a parenting educator, will outline flexible and practical child discipline strategies. Dr. John Anderson, medical director of the IWK-Grace Child Protection Team, will discuss the dangers associated with Shaken Baby Syndrome. Free child care is available.
