TRANSPORTATION/PUBLIC WORKS--SPRING WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS EXTENDED ----------------------------------------------------------------- Due to the weather conditions, the minister of transportation and public works has determined it is necessary to extend the spring weight restrictions period to 12:01 a.m., May 11, in the counties of Colchester, Cumberland, Pictou, Antigonish, Guysborough, Richmond, Inverness, Victoria and Cape Breton. Certain roads in the province are exempt from the weight restrictions.
