TRANSPORTATION/PUBLIC WORKS--TRAFFIC ADVISORIES

Halifax County - Highway 102, Halifax International Airport
                 Underpass

Work will continue next week on the Halifax International Airport
underpass (at Exit 6). To accommodate the structure repairs,
there will be a possibility of lane closures on Highway 102
northbound (heading toward Truro). Work is expected to be
complete by the end of November.

Motorists are reminded to use caution and adjust speeds
accordingly when travelling through construction sites.

Halifax County - Highway 102, Lakeview Bridge Overpass

Work will continue next week on the Lakeview bridge overpass,
Halifax County. To accommodate the structure repairs, Highway 102
northbound lanes have been reduced to one lane only at the
overpass (located halfway between exits 4 and 5). Work is
expected to be complete by the end of November.

Motorists are reminded to use caution and adjust speeds
accordingly when travelling through construction sites.

Halifax County - Highway 102, Geizer's Hill Underpass

Work will continue next week on the Geizer's Hill underpass,
Halifax. To accommodate the structure repairs, Highway 102
northbound and southbound lanes have been reduced to one lane
only at the overpass (located at Exit 1A). On Highway 103, the
overpass directly above Highway 102 will be closed to trucks over
1/2 ton, with a maximum width of 3.5 metres. Work is expected to
be complete by the end of November.

Motorists are reminded to use caution and adjust speeds
accordingly when travelling through construction sites.

Halifax County - Highway 107

Work will continue next week an the eastbound lanes of Highway
107 (Bedford By-Pass). Highway 107 will be reduced to one lane at
the Highway 101 overpass structure. Motorists travelling from
Sackville to Burnside via the Bedford by-pass will encounter a
temporary stop sign at the end of the entrance ramp onto Highway
107. Work is expected to be completed by the end of the month.

Motorists are reminded to exercise caution when travelling
through construction sites.

Hants County - Highway 101, Mt. Uniacke Connector Underpass

Work will continue next week on the Mt. Uniacke connector on
highway 101. To accommodate the structure repairs, there will be
a lane closure at the top of the bridge affecting all traffic.
Traffic lights will be installed on Highway 101 eastbound and
westbound and on Trunk 1 eastbound. Work is expected to be
complete by the end of November.

Richmond County - Trunk 4, MacNabs Cove Bridge

Work will begin on Tuesday, Nov. 12, to upgrade the MacNabs Cove
Bridge, Richmond County, on Trunk 4 between St. Peter's and Irish
Cove. One lane will always remain open to traffic. The maximum
width through the site will be 2.5 metres. Wide loads are advised
to take the Trans-Canada Highway to Route 247. Work is expected
to be complete by the end of the week.
