TRANSPORTATION/PUBLIC WORKS--TRAFFIC ADVISORIES

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: HIGHWAY 104

On Monday, May 26, work will begin on Highway 104 from Frankville
Road underpass easterly 3.5 kilometres, and from Pomquet Road
easterly to Trunk No. 4. Traffic will be restricted to one lane
with vehicle escort.

Work on both sections includes ditching and repaving between 6
a.m. and 8 p.m.; weekend work is also possible. It is expected to
be completed by July 12.

HANTS COUNTY: ROUTE 14

On Monday, May 26, repaving will start on Route 14 from the East
Hants County Line to South Uniacke Road. One lane will be closed
and traffic controlled by traffic crews. Hours of work are 7 a.m.
to 7 p.m. Work is expected to be completed by July 15.

VICTORIA COUNTY: LITTLE NARROWS FERRY

The Little Narrows Ferry will be out of service from midnight May
24 to midnight May 25 in order to sandblast and paint the deck.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: THOMSON ROAD

Thomson Road will be closed until July 11 while an overpass
extension is being completed. Motorist are asked to detour via
the Thomson Road to the Jungle Road.

HALIFAX COUNTY: HIGHWAY 102

Work continues on Highway 102 southbound between Hammonds Plains
Road (Exit 3) and Kearney Lake Road (Exit 2). One lane of traffic
will remain open at all times. Work is expected to be completed
by the end of June.
