Nova Scotia has entered into a funding Agreement for delivery of the New Building Canada Fund – Small Communities Fund (SCF). The Department of Municipal Affairs and Housing administers the SCF, including the application process, on behalf of Canada and Nova Scotia. This 10-year cost-shared program (2014-2024) will provide $42.6M in federal funding for capital infrastructure projects to be matched by provincial and municipal funds.

Eligible applicants under SCF include Nova Scotia municipalities and villages with a population under 100,000.
