Left to right: Chief Matthew Francis, Pictou Landing Reserve, aged 68; Tom Francis, his brother, aged 71; John Thomas, another brother; Stephen Francis, a fourth brother, aged 65; Chief William Paul, Shubenacadie Reserve; Captain Joe Julian, acting chief, Truro Reserve; Alex Cope (barely visible). These men formed the graveside choir for Chief Peter Wilmot, who died 27 December 1932. Joe Julien is wearing Peter Wilmot's headdress, later sold by Charles Wilmot to the Nova Scotia Museum, Halifax.
