One of a series of glass negatives rescued from a U.S. dump by Jack Woolner of Massachusetts, who contacted the Nova Scotia Museum about the find and sent prints from the glass negatives which had Mi'kmaq content. Note the woodsplints for making baskets in the right foreground. The wigwam is covered with tarpaper. A portion of a wicker baby cradle can been seen behind the young girl in white. Other Nova Scotian material from this collection is now in the Public Archives of Nova Scotia.
