What We Heard - Public Consultation on Solid Waste Regulations

March 2015: Nova Scotia Environment conducted public consultations on proposed changes to the provincial solid waste regulations. Nova Scotia is too good to waste. With regulations and a provincial strategy for managing solid waste, we're wasting less, recycling more and reaping the environmental, economic and social benefits.

Solid Waste Resource Management Section of the Air Quality and Resource Management Branch is responsible for a number of activities including recycling, composting, disposal, and the Nova Scotia Solid Waste Strategy.
