Who Needs This Licence? |
|
A Distributor Licence permits a licensee to distribute for resale fluid dairy product(s) from distribution location(s) as approved by the Natural Products Marketing Council under the Terms and Conditions of that Distributor Licence. |

An application for a Distributor Licence must be made to the Natural Products Marketing Council. An application form is available from the Natural Products Marketing Council upon request.
If approved by the Natural Products Marketing Council, a Distributor Licence will be issued to the licensee.

Waiting Period: |
The waiting period is contingent upon a completed application containing all required information, the completion of any approval process requirements as provided in the regulations under the Dairy Industry Act, as well as the meeting schedule of the Natural Products Marketing Council.

Expiry & Renewal: |
Distributor Licences are issued on a 3 year schedule. Any new Distributor Licence will expire on a date determined by the Natural Products Marketing Council and is renewable in 3 year periods following that date. |
Price: (No
tax is charged) |
The holder of a Distributor Licence must pay a fee of $0.016/hL on the total litres of Class 1 milk sold in the Province. This fee is not due at the time of application.
