Who Needs This
Registration? |
Any apple storage plant operator in Nova Scotia who want to
operate a plant to store apples designated for sale as "controlled
atmosphere" (indicating that they have been stored under Controlled
Atmosphere technology) must have this registration. |

Application Forms

An application form can be obtained from the Pest Management
Regulations Coordinator, Department of Agriculture (see
above).
When completed, it is submitted to the Pest Management Regulations Coordinator, along
with the applicable fee.
If all requirements are met and the application is approved, the Pest Management Regulations Coordinator will request a certificate be issued by the Minister's
office. |
Waiting Period: |
10 business days
provided that all the items that must accompany the application have been received |
Expiry & Renewal: |
This registration is valid for 5 years from the date it is
issued. It can be renewed, and the renewal time is June 30 of the last
year. It is the responsibility of the Registration holder to contact
the Department before it expires; NO NOTICE of renewal will be sent out
by the Department. |

tax is charged) |
Initial Application or Renewal: $12.10 for a 5-year registration
Please pay by cheque or money order made out to the Minister of Finance. |
