Who Needs To Do This?
Anyone who has killed a deer while hunting in Nova Scotia must register the deer within 24hrs. A person can register a deer online at novascotia.ca/natr/hunt/ or at a deer registration station. Application Form & Process:
  When a hunter has killed a deer, they must attach to the deer the tag which comes with their N.S. Deer Hunting License.

The hunter must register the deer within 24 hours either by taking the deer to the nearest Deer Registration Station or by registering it using the Online Deer Registration form.

The Vendor who manages the Deer Registration Station then fills out the Deer Registration Form (which is then forwarded to the N.S. Department of Natural Resources)    If the deer is registered online, the confirmation number must be written on the Base Licence and Deer Tag.
