| Who Needs This Equipment Licence? | |
In Nova Scotia all boilers and pressure vessels must be installed and inspected at regular intervals as prescribed by the Chief Inspector. In addition, all repairs to boilers, pressure vessels, high pressure piping systems and refrigeration plants, need to be inspected. |

An installation or inspection request is made to Labour, Skills, and Immigration. If all requirements are met and the request is approved (subject to inspection), the licence will be sent to the applicant by mail. |

Re-inspection by the Province of Nova Scotia is required on a regular basis as per expiry date. |
