Clerk of the Executive Council

The duties and functions of the Clerk of the Executive Council shall be to:

  • examine submissions to the Executive Council to ensure conformity with policy and legal requirements;
  • prepare draft orders in council;
  • register, certify, distribute, and file orders in council;
  • maintain liaison with departments and agencies of the Province in relation to matters of concern to the Executive Council; and
  • perform such other duties as may be from time to time prescribed by the Governor in Council.
