Premier Darrell Dexter announced ministerial changes that will help government continue to fulfill its commitment to make life better for Nova Scotia families while getting back to balance.

Quotes

The province's back to balance plan is in good hands with Minister MacDonald, who has proven to be an excellent, hard-working cabinet minister. Minister Wilson's background and ability to work with multiple stakeholders will help him in his new, challenging portfolios. Premier Darrell Dexter

Both Mr. Estabrooks and Mr. Steele have made instrumental contributions to the province of Nova Scotia. I thank them for that, and I look forward to working with them as caucus members. This opens up new opportunities within Executive Council, and I believe we have the right people in place to lead the province through the next year, back to balance. Premier Darrell Dexter

I want to welcome Leonard and Moe to cabinet. Each is a great fit for their respective departments, and bring knowledge and work ethic to their new portfolios. Government is making significant progress and is on track to fulfill our commitments to Nova Scotians. I look forward to working with my cabinet and caucus colleagues to continue to make life better for people across this province. Premier Darrell Dexter
