for vendors of Domestic, Commercial and Restricted class pesticides is available for download. Hard copies of this manual are available for purchase from the Nova Scotia Environment office in Amherst (902) 667-6205. The cost for the manual is $25.00 for pick up orders (shipping is available).

Applicator Core Manual
The Applicator Core Manual (PDF:9.1mb) provides the basic information that all applicators need to know about applying pesticides safely and effectively. The category specific manuals (listed below) provide further information for applying pesticides in specific areas. This manual must be used in with the following categories: Structural, Forestry, Greenhouse, Industrial Vegetation, Landscape, Mosquito & Biting Fly, Aquatic Vegetation and Fumigation.
Please note: to obtain a pesticide applicator certification you must successfully pass an exam consisting of information found in the Applicator Core Manual as well as a specific category.
