About the MSFAA

In the 2012-2013 application year, the Canada Student Loans Program (CSLP) started issuing a Master Student Financial Assistance Agreement (MSFAA) instead of a paper loan certificate. Your Agreement will be available for download and printing from My PATH once you've been approved to receive CSLP funding.

This Agreement is the formal agreement between you (as a borrower) and the Canada Student Loans Program (as a lender). It details the terms under which you will borrow, use and repay Canada Student Loans and Grants funding. You must complete it just once, the first time you apply for student assistance, and it will remain valid until your program ends or until you do not apply for Student Assistance for two years.
