Services for Youth

The following core services collectively represent a comprehensive approach to youth outreach programming. Youth Outreach Workers in each organization will provide these services.

The services that are provided with DCS funding are largely dependent on organizational capacity, existing resources, and how this funding complements any existing programs and services provided through other funding sources.

  • Drop-in
  • Crisis management
  • Supportive counseling
  • Programs and workshops
  • Referrals and linkages
  • Mentoring
  • Accompaniment
  • Outreach
  • Family work/support

For a youth-friendly, safe supportive place, contact a Youth Outreach program nearest you.
