June 20, 2025UK RETAIL SALES, MAY 2025 Month-over-month (May 2025 vs April 2025, seasonally adjusted)
UK retail sales values dropped by 2.4% while volumes (adjusted to remove the effects of price changes) were down 2.7%.
Internet sales were down 1.0% and accounted for 27.2% of total retail sales.
Year-over-Year (May 2025 vs May 2024)
UK retail sales values fell 1.2% while retail sales volumes declined 1.3%.
Year-to-date (January-May 2025 vs January-May 2024)
UK retail sales values increased 1.5% and retail sales volumes increased 1.2%.
