US nonfarm business sector labour productivity in the US grew at a seasonally adjusted annualized rate of 2.4% in Q2 2025.  The rebound in labour productivity combined with a 1.3% rise in hours worked lifted US business sector output by 3.7%.

US manufacturing labour productivity increased 2.1% with hours worked up 0.3%, combining for a 2.3% rise in US manufacturing output.

US unit labour costs were up 1.6%, as the labour productivity improvement of 2.4% offset some of the 4.0% rise in hourly compensation.
