Quarter-over-quarter (all countries, seasonally adjusted, Q2 2025 vs. Q1 2025)
Canada's current account receipts declined $30.5 billion to $306.1 billion while current account payments declined $10.7 billion to $327.3 billion. The resulting net current account deficit grew by $19.8 billion to $21.2 billion.
Goods exports were down $27.4 billion to $182.2 billion while goods imports were down $8.3 billion to $201.8 billion. As a result, the goods balance deficit widened to $19.6 billion.

Services exports were down $649 million to $54.6 billion while services imports decreased $1.1 billion to $54.5 billion. The change of $430 million pushed the services deficit to a surplus of $74 million.

Primary income receipts decreased $1.3 billion to $64.5 billion while primary income payments decreased $1.9 billion to $64.1 billion. The primary income deficit narrowed by $593 million to a surplus of $391 million.

Secondary income receipts decreased $1.1 billion to $4.8 billion while secondary income payments increased by $678 million to $6.8 billion. The resulting net secondary income deficit grew by $1.8 billion to $2.0 billion.
