In Canada,
- The labour force decreased 25,700 (-0.1%) to 22,613,400
- Employment increased 53,600 (+0.3%) to 21,135,500
- The number of unemployed persons decreased 79,500 (-5.1%) to 1,477,800
- The unemployment rate decreased 0.4 percentage points to 6.5%
