Month-over-month (August vs July 2026)
The current account surplus widened by ¥456.3 billion to ¥2,979.4 billion.
- the goods trade deficit widened by ¥55.8 billion to ¥485.2 billion
- the services trade deficit widened by ¥8.8 billion to ¥163.3 billion
- the primary income surplus widened by ¥407.1 billion to ¥3,907.1 billion
- the secondary income deficit narrowed by ¥113.8 billion to ¥279.2 billion
The goods trade deficit widened by ¥55.8 billion to ¥485.2 billion.
- goods exports decreased by ¥84.3 billion to ¥10,685.1 billion.
- goods imports decreased by ¥28.5 billion to ¥11,170.3 billion.
