Month-over-month (January 2025 vs December 2024)
The current account surplus narrowed by ¥794.1 billion to ¥1,937.5 billion.
- the goods trade changed from a surplus to a deficit of ¥1,471.2 by reducung the goods trade by ¥1,685.3 billion
- the services trade deficit widened by ¥60.6 billion to ¥117.6 billion
- the primary income surplus widened by ¥1,035.4 to ¥3,991.8 billion
- the secondary income deficit widened by ¥83.6 billion to ¥465.4 billion
- goods exports decreased ¥727.7 to ¥8,398.2 billion.
- goods imports increased ¥957.6 billion to ¥9,869.4 billion.
