US TRADE BALANCE, FEBRUARY 2025

Month over month (February 2025 vs January 2025)

The United States goods and services deficit narrowed by $8.0 billion to $122.7 billion. The goods exports increased by $8.8 billion to $147.0 billion, and the services surplus narrowed by $838 million to $24.3 billion.                                                                                                                                                                                      

Total exports increased $8.0 billion to $278.5 billion. Goods exports increased $8.3 billion to $181.9 billion, and services exports decreased $365 million to $96.5 billion.

Total imports decreased $38 million to $401.1 billion. Goods imports decreased $510 million to $328.9 billion, and services imports increased $474 million to $72.2 billion.

 

Year over year (February 2025 vs February 2024)

The US trade deficit widened by $53.3 billion. The goods deficit widened by $53.5 billion, and the services surplus narrowed by $174 million.

Total exports increased by $12.7 billion. Goods exports increased $6.1 billion, and services exports increased $6.6 billion.

Total imports increased $66.0 billion. Goods imports increased $59.6 billion, and services imports increased $6.4 billion.
