CANADA BUSINESS SECTOR LABOUR PRODUCTIVITY, Q3 2025

Labour productivity of Canadian businesses rose at a seasonally adjusted annualized rate of 3.7% from Q2 2025 to Q3 2025, following a revised decline of 4.1% in Q2 2025. Hours worked fell by 0.2% while output rose 3.5%.

Total compensation per hour increased at a seasonally adjusted annualized rate of 5.0% in Q3 2025. Unit labour costs of Canadian businesses rose at a seasonally adjusted annualized rate of 1.3% in Q3 2025.
