December 17, 2025UK CONSUMER PRICE INDEX, NOVEMBER 2025 
UK Consumer Price Index including owner-occupiers' housing costs (CPIH) rose 3.5% year-over-year in November 2025, down from 3.8% year-over-year in October 2025. The UK CPI index was up 3.2% year-over-year in November, down from 3.6% year-over-year in October. The owner occupiers' housing costs component accounts for approximately 17% of the CPIH. It is the main driver for differences between the CPIH and CPI inflation rates. The largest downward contributions came from food and non-alcoholic beverages as well as alcohol and tobacco partly offset by an upward contribution from communications.
