JAPAN CURRENT ACCOUNT AND TRADE BALANCE, NOVEMBER 2025

Month-over-month (November 2025 vs October 2025)

The current account  surplus widened by ¥661.4 billion to ¥3,137.8 billion.                                                        

• the goods trade surplus widened by ¥365.1 billion to ¥450.7 billion
• the services trade deficit widened by ¥40.2 billion to ¥282.9 billion
• the primary income surplus widened by ¥271.4 to ¥3,284.4 billion
• the secondary income deficit narrowed by ¥65.2 billion to ¥314.4 billion

The goods trade surplus widened by ¥365.1 to ¥450.7 billion.

• goods exports increased ¥478.7 to ¥9,479.2 billion.
• goods imports increased ¥113.7 billion to ¥9,028.5 billion.
