January 26, 2026LABOUR FORCE SURVEY SEASONAL ADJUSTMENT REVISIONS 2023-2025 Statistics Canada has made their annual revisions to the past three years of monthly Labour Force Survey results to account for updated seasonal patterns. Population data are unrevised.
Nova Scotia's revised seasonally adjusted labour force survey results for December 2025:
- Labour force was unchanged at 560,300
- Employment was 524,200 (revised up 300)
- The unemployment rate was 6.4% (revised down from 6.5%)
- The participation rate was unchanged at 61.0%
- The employment rate was unchanged at 57.1%
