Month-over-month (February vs January 2026)
The current account surplus narrowed by ¥425.4 billion to ¥2,709.0 billion.
- the goods trade surplus declined by ¥1,044.7 billion to a deficit of ¥317.1 billion
- the services trade deficit widened by ¥136.7 billion to ¥450.5 billion
- the primary income surplus widened by ¥517.3 billion to ¥3,711.4 billion
- the secondary income deficit narrowed by ¥238.6 billion to ¥234.8 billion
The goods trade surplus declined by ¥1,044.7 billion to a deficit of ¥317.1 billion.
- goods exports decreased by ¥157.8 billion to ¥9,479.2 billion.
- goods imports increased by ¥886.8 billion to ¥10,291.2 billion.
