Month-over-month (June vs May 2026, seasonally adjusted)
The United Kingdom (UK) goods and services trade deficit widened by £2.1 billion to £5.5 billion in June. Exports of goods and services decreased 2.8% (£2.3 billion) to £80.2 billion and imports of goods and services decreased 0.2% (£0.2 billion) to £85.7 billion.
The UK goods trade deficit widened by £1.9 billion to £23.0 billion. Exports of goods decreased 6.4% (£2.2 billion) to £33.0 billion and imports of goods decreased 0.6% (£0.3 billion) to £56.0 billion.
The UK services trade surplus narrowed by £0.1 billion to £17.5 billion. Exports of services decreased 0.1% (£0.04 billion) to £47.3 billion while imports of services increased 0.4% (£0.1 billion) at £29.8 billion.

The UK goods and services trade balance deficit widened by £1.4 billion from June 2025 to £5.5 billion in June 2026. The goods trade deficit widened by £1.9 billion and the services trade surplus widened by £0.5 billion.

The UK-EU goods trade deficit widened by £1.1 billion to £12.6 billion. Exports of goods decreased by 7.4% (£1.3 billion) to £15.9 billion and imports of goods decreased by 0.7% (£0.2 billion) to £28.4 billion.
The UK-non-EU goods trade deficit widened by £0.9 billion to £10.4 billion. Exports of goods decreased 5.4% (£1.0 billion) to £17.1 billion and imports of goods decreased 0.4% (£0.1 billion) to £27.5 billion.

The UK-EU goods trade deficit widened by £1.4 billion and non-EU goods trade deficit widened by £0.5 billion.
