October 23, 2026UK RETAIL SALES, SEPTEMBER 2026 Month-over-month (September 2026 vs August 2026, seasonally adjusted)
UK retail sales values grew 0.3% while volumes (adjusted to remove the effects of price changes) were down 0.4%.
Internet sales were down 0.4% and accounted for 28.8% of total retail sales.
Year-over-Year (September 2026 vs September 2025)
UK retail sales values were up 5.5% and retail sales volumes were up 0.8%.
Year-to-date (January-September 2026 vs January-September 2025)
UK retail sales values increased 4.8% and retail sales volumes increased 1.8%.
