EURO AREA CURRENT ACCOUNT, OCTOBER 2021

 

 

 

Month over month (Oct 2021 vs Sep 2021, seasonally adjusted)

The European Central Bank reported today that the Euro Area (EA19) net current account surplus widened by €511 million to €18.1 billion.

  • Net goods and services surplus widened by €5,261 million to €32.4 billion.
  • Net primary income surplus narrowed by €5,179 million to €0.2 billion.
  • Net secondary income deficit narrowed by €428 million to €14.5 billion.

 

 

 

Net Services surplus widened by €6,949 million to €15.9 billion.

Net Goods surplus narrowed by €1,688 million to €16.5 billion.

  • Goods exports increased €8,431 million to €215.6 billion.
  • Goods imports increased €10,119 million to €199.1 billion.
