May 22, 2026UK RETAIL SALES, APRIL 2026 Month-over-month (April 2026 vs March 2026, seasonally adjusted)
UK retail sales values rose 0.1% while volumes (adjusted to remove the effects of price changes) were down 1.3%.
Internet sales were down 2.3% and accounted for 28.1% of total retail sales.
Year-over-Year (April 2026 vs April 2025)
UK retail sales values were up 4.5% while retail sales volumes were virtually unchanged.
Year-to-date (January-April 2026 vs January-April 2025)
UK retail sales values increased 4.2% and retail sales volumes increased 1.9%.
