January 17, 2020UK RETAIL SALES, DECEMBER AND ANNUAL 2019 
The UK Office for National Statistics reports that UK retail sales decreased in December.
- Month over month retail sales values decreased 0.3 per cent while the retail sales volume (adjusted for price changes) decreased 0.6 per cent over November 2019.
- Year-over-year retail sales values increased 1.5 per cent and retail sales volumes increased 0.9 per cent over December 2018.
- Annual retail sales values increased 3.8 per cent and retail sales volumes increased 3.4 per cent over Jan-Dec 2018.
Inrernet Sales
Year-over-year Internet Sales increased by 5.6 per cent over December 2018. Online sales increased to a 19.0 per cent share of all retail sales.
