April 06, 2021EU AND EURO AREA UNEMPLOYMENT RATE, FEBRUARY 2021
Euro Area unemployment rate was 8.3% in February 2021, unchanged from the previous month. The unemployment rate in the Euro Area was up from 7.3% in February 2020.
For the broader European Union (27 countries), unemployment rate stood at 7.5% in February 2021. This level was unchanged from the previous month and up from 6.5% in February 2020.
Among major European economies, the unemployment rate was highest in Spain (16.1%) and Greece (15.8% in Dec 2020). The lowest unemployment rates were recorded in Poland (3.1%) and Czechia (3.2%).
