December 17, 2021UK RETAIL SALES, NOVEMBER 2021 The UK Office for National Statistics reports that UK retail sales increased in November 2021.
- Month over month (Nov 2021 vs Oct 2021) retail sales values increased 2.3% while the retail sales volume (adjusted for price changes) increased 1.3%.
- Year-over-year (Nov 2021 vs Nov 2020) retail sales values increased 10.8% and retail sales volumes increased 4.7%.
- Year-to-date (Jan-Nov 2021 vs Jan-Nov 2020) retail sales values increased 8.3% and retail sales volumes increased 6.1%.
Internet sales
- Month over month (Nov 2021 vs Oct 2021) retail sales increased by 0.1%. Online sales share of all retail sales declined 0.4 percentage points to 26.9%.
- Online sales share of all retail sales increased 7.3 percentage points over February 2020 (19.6%).
