The UK Office for National Statistics reports that UK retail sales value increased while retail sales volume declined in November 2022.

Month over month (November 2022 vs October 2022)

Retail sales values increased 0.5% while retail sales volume (adjusted for price changes) was down 0.4%.

Internet sales increased by 0.6% and accounted for 26.2% of total retail sales.

Year-over-year (November 2022 vs November 2021)

Retail sales values increased 4.2% while retail sales volumes decreased 5.9%.

Year-to-date (Jan-Nov 2022 vs Jan-Nov 2021)

Retail sales values increased 7.4% and retail sales volumes decreased 2.5%.
