December 16, 2022EU AND EURO AREA TRADE BALANCE IN GOODS, OCTOBER 2022 EURO AREA (EA19 - Oct 2022 vs. Sep 2022, not seasonally adjusted)
The Euro Area's goods trade with the rest of the word recorded a deficit of €-26.5 billion. Euro Area exports decreased €6.7 billion (-2.6%) to €252.8 billion. Euro Area imports decreased €14.7 billion (-5.0%) to €279.3 billion.
EUROPEAN UNION (EU27 - Oct 2022 vs. Sep 2022, not seasonally adjusted)
The European Union's goods trade with the rest of the world recorded a deficit of €38.2 billion. European Union exports decreased €7.1 billion (-3.1%) to €225.2 billion. European Union imports decreased €14.9 billion (-5.3%) to €263.4 billion.
TRADE PARTNERS (Oct 2022 vs. Sep 2022, not seasonally adjusted)
The European Union's goods trade with:
- the United Kingdom recorded a surplus of €9.9 billion
- Canada recorded a surplus of €1.6 billion
- the United States recorded a surplus of €11.1 billion
