March 02, 2023EU AND EURO AREA UNEMPLOYMENT RATE, JANUARY 2023
Eurostat has reported that the unemployment rate in the Euro Area has remained unchanged at 6.7% in January 2023. For the broader 27 countries of the entire European Union, the unemployment rate also remained unchanged at 6.1% in January 2023.
Among EU member state economies, the unemployment rate was highest in Spain and Italy. Unemployment rates were lowest in Czechia, Poland, Malta, and Germany.
