March 14, 2023UK UNEMPLOYMENT RATE, NOVEMBER 2022 TO JANUARY 2023 
The UK Office for National Statistics reported today that the unemployment rate for the three-month period November 2022 to January 2023, remained at 3.7% for the fourth consecutive period. This was down from the 4.0% reported for the same period a year ago.
There were 1.253 million unemployed people in the UK, 0.094 million fewer than from a year earlier. Employment in the UK was at 32.839 million, 0.309 million more compared to a year earlier.
