March 24, 2023UK RETAIL SALES, FEBRUARY 2023 The UK Office for National Statistics reports that UK retail sales value as well as retail sales volume rose in February 2023.
Month over month (February 2023 vs January 2023)
Retail sales values increased 1.6% while retail sales volume (adjusted for price changes) was up 1.2%.
Internet sales increased by 2.6% and accounted for 25.4% of total retail sales.
Year-over-Year (February 2023 vs February 202)
Retail sales values increased 5.5% while retail sales volumes decreased 3.5%.
Year-to-date (Jan-Feb 2023 vs Jan-Feb 2022)
Retail sales values increased 4.9% and retail sales volumes decreased 4.3%.
