The US net trade deficit narrowed by $2.8 billion to $65.5 billion. The net goods deficit narrowed by $2.8 billion to $88.2 billion. The net services surplus narrowed by $0.011 billion to $22.7 billion.
Total exports decreased $0.4 billion to $247.5 billion. Exports of goods decreased $0.2 billion to $165.1 billion. Exports of services decreased $0.200 billion to $82.3 billion.
Total imports decreased $3.1 billion to $313.0 billion. Imports of goods decreased $3.0 billion to $253.3 billion. Imports of services decreased $0.188 billion to $59.7 billion.
Year over year (June 2023 vs June 2022)
The US net trade deficit narrowed by $15.4 billion. The net goods deficit narrowed by $11.0 billion. The net services surplus widened by $4.3 billion.
Total exports decreased $11.1 billion. Exports of goods decreased $16.1 billion. Exports of services increased $5.0 billion.
Total imports decreased $26.4 billion. Imports of goods decreased $27.1 billion. Imports of services increased $0.7 billion.
