In Canada,
- Labour force increased 54,200 (+0.3%) to 21,387,400
- Employment increased 39,900 (+0.2%) to 20,206,300
- Unemployment increased 14,200 (+1.2%) to 1,181,000
- Unemployment Rate was unchanged at 5.5%
In Halifax, (3-month moving average)
- Labour force increased 1,400 (+0.5%) to 279,800
