JAPAN CURRENT ACCOUNT AND TRADE BALANCE, NOVEMBER 2023

Month-over-month (November 2023 vs October 2023)

The current account surplus narrowed by ¥736 billion to ¥1,885 billion.

  • goods deficit widened by ¥322 billion to ¥613 billion.
  • services changed to a deficit of ¥216 billion.
  • primary income surplus widened by ¥325 billion to ¥2,939 billion.
  • secondary income deficit narrowed by ¥95 billion to ¥225 billion.

 

 

The goods deficit wideneded by ¥322 billion to ¥613 billion.

  • goods exports decreased ¥565 billion to ¥8,356 billion.
  • goods imports decreased ¥244 billion to ¥8,969 billion.
