UK Consumer Price Index including owner-occupiers' housing costs (CPIH) rose 3.4% year-over-year in March 2026, up from 3.2% year-over-year in February 2026. The UK CPI index was up 3.3% year-over-year in March 2026, up from 3.0% year-over-year in February. The owner occupiers' housing costs component accounts for approximately 18% of the CPIH. It is the main driver for differences between the CPIH and CPI inflation rates.
