The Office for National Statistics has released its first estimate for UK GDP. UK real GDP grew at a seasonally adjusted annualized rate of 2.5% in Q1 2026, accelerating from a revised estimate of 0.6% for Q4 2025.
Growth in UK output was widespread with gains in construction, production, and services.
