US construction spending increased 0.4% to $2,172.4 billion.
- Total residential construction increased 0.8% to $922.0 billion.
- Total non-residential construction spending increased 0.1% to $1,250.4 billion.
- Private sector construction increased 0.4% to $1,639.7 billion.
- Public sector construction increased 0.4% to $532.7 billion.


Private residential construction increased 0.8% to $909.9 billion, while private non-residential construction spending decreased 0.2% to $729.8 billion.
Public residential construction increased 0.7% to $12.2 billion, while public non-residential construction spending increased 0.4% to $520.6 billion.
