US nonfarm business sector labour productivity was revised to a seasonally adjusted annualized rate of 0.3% in Q1 2026. Hours worked rose 0.7%, supporting growth in output to 1.0% with the slower gain in productivity.

US unit labour costs rose 1.8%, as the labour productivity improvement of 0.3% was more than offset by a 2.1% rise in hourly compensation.
